Yeufre Perez is the co-founder and head coach at Revival Fitness, with a background that blends education and fitness expertise. Graduating from Queens College in 2015 with a degree in History and Secondary Education.
His personal journey began at age 16 when, struggling with being overweight and poor self-care, he started running around his neighborhood block to shed pounds. College brought back old habits, leading to weight regain, but Yeufre made a decisive change—cutting out junk food and alcohol while creatively finding ways to exercise on a budget, including park workouts, his college gym, and even sneaking into a local gym for months. After a year of dedicated self-transformation, he immersed himself in training and nutrition research, inspiring him to become a personal trainer to help others reach their goals.
Yeufre is known for his determination and resourcefulness, turning personal challenges into opportunities for growth. He's deeply passionate about fitness, self-motivated, and committed to lifelong learning in training and nutrition. Julio Guambana, co-founder of Revival Fitness, graduated from Queens College in 2013 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Secondary Education. Initially driven by a passion for teaching and helping others, Julio pivoted to the fitness industry shortly after college, embarking on a journey that led to the creation of his own personal training studio.
Julio began his fitness career at a commercial gym, starting with distributing flyers, advancing to the front desk, and eventually becoming a personal trainer. Seeking greater opportunities, he joined Crunch Fitness, where he thrived and saw the potential to grow his career. Through their education program, Julio earned several certifications.
Rising quickly as a top trainer, Julio's ambition was always to go independent. Over 12 years ago, he designed the Revival Fitness logo, planting the seed for his dream. Patience and persistence were key as he honed his skills, learning from experienced mentors to tailor programs to each client's unique needs.
Julio finds joy in empowering clients to feel strong and confident, celebrating milestones like weight loss, faster runs, heavier lifts, or simply standing up with ease. His training style blends fun with focus, offering personalized nutrition guidance, at-home exercises, and empathetic support to help clients break old habits and build lasting ones.
